A BIT ABOUT OUR FEATURED CLINICIAN:
Zane Davis grew up learning to be a ranch and rodeo cowboy in Montana. The self-taught, 38-year-old has been training cow horses five years and has tackled the cutting pen two years. He has accumulated more than $265,000 in earnings, according to EquiStat.  Davis has been a finalist in all National Reined Cow Horse Association major events, including the World's Greatest Horseman contest. He has also been a National Cutting Horse Association Futurity semi-finalist and finalist in the Limited Open division.  Davis was raised on a several thousand-acre sheep and cattle ranch. His background in rodeo stems from his father Shawn Davis' World Championship bronc riding titles from 1965-1968. Shawn is now general manager of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Zane won the National High School Rodeo Bareback Championship before claiming National College Rodeo Bareback and All-Around titles.  After working for Carol Rose Quarter Horses in Gainesville, Texas, Davis now trains out of his ranch, where he resides with his wife, Holly, son, Dawson, 7, and daughter, Zayle, 9. - Article Courtesy of Performance Horse Magazine

Zane was on the cover of Quarter Horse news in the Oct. 1 and Nov. 1 editions and also inside the Nov. 15 edition.
